How Rush Sports Works

Everything you need to know about both game modes, settlement, and winning SOL.

The Basics

Rush Sports lets you predict short-term movement in live sports odds. You're not picking the final winner -- you're predicting how win probability shifts in very short windows.

We pull real-time odds from live sports markets. As the game unfolds -- goals, touchdowns, aces, kills -- the odds move. Your job is to predict the size and direction of that movement.

We cover 20+ sports and esports including NBA, NFL, soccer, tennis, UFC, CS2, League of Legends, Valorant, and many more.

Game Modes

Tap 2 Predict: choose a target % zone (row) and a future 30 second window (column). You win if odds touch your selected zone during that active window.

Up/Down: choose direction + stake, then start. The round starts exactly 30 seconds later and runs for 60 seconds. You win if the end-of-window move matches your chosen direction.

Both modes use the same bankroll, same house edge configuration, and the same on-chain settlement rails.

When you open a match, you'll see a live odds chart on the left and a grid of cells extending to the right. The grid sits ahead of the "NOW" line on the chart -- it represents the future.

Columns represent time. Each column is a 30-second window. The further right a column is, the further into the future it settles.

Rows represent price movement. The middle row is "flat" (the odds barely move). Rows above predict the odds go up, rows below predict they go down. The further from the middle, the bigger the predicted movement.

Each cell shows a multiplier (e.g. 2.3x, 6.1x) -- that's how much your prediction pays if you're right. Bigger movements are harder to predict, so they pay more. The maximum multiplier is 33x.

UP/DOWN (1 Minute)

UP/DOWN is direction-only. You pick stake + UP/DOWN, then the round starts exactly 30 seconds later and runs for 60 seconds.

Settlement compares boundary prices at the round start and end. If the final move matches your chosen direction, the round wins and pays the calculated multiplier.

If either boundary price is stale, the round is canceled and the stake is refunded.

How Multipliers Work

Multipliers are calculated using a statistical model based on the volatility of each sport. Sports with more frequent scoring (like basketball) have different odds profiles than sports with rare goals (like soccer).

Cells with a multiplier below 1.0x are greyed out and can't be selected -- they wouldn't be profitable for you.

Example: You predict the odds will move up significantly. The cell shows 6.1x. You bet 0.05 SOL. If the odds hit your predicted zone within 30 seconds, you win 0.305 SOL (6.1 x 0.05).

Placing a Prediction

1. Fund a session. Before placing any predictions, you fund a session with SOL. This creates a temporary key in your browser so you can tap to predict without approving every single transaction in your wallet. Think of it as loading credits into an arcade machine.

2. Choose a mode. In Tap 2 Predict, tap a grid cell. In Up/Down, choose direction then tap start. Actions place immediately (no confirmation).

3. Wait for settlement. Tap 2 Predict settles when the selected window completes. Up/Down settles at round end after 60 seconds. No action needed from you.

Predictions must be placed at least 30 seconds before the 30-second evaluation window begins (roughly 60 secondsbefore the column's settle time). Cells that are too close to NOW are disabled.

Fees & Costs

Each prediction has a few costs. We try to be explicit about these so you know exactly where SOL is going.

  • Network fee: the normal Solana transaction fee (paid by your session key).
  • Priority fee: an extra fee to help your transaction land quickly during congestion (paid by your session key).
  • Oracle fee: a fixed per-prediction fee that funds on-chain oracle publishing (protocol wallet).
  • Settlement fee: a fixed per-prediction fee that funds settlement transactions (settler wallet).
  • Platform fee: on losing predictions, a portion of the stake is paid to the platform wallet; the remainder stays in the bankroll pool.
  • Referral rewards: if you join via a referral link, a portion of the platform fee is paid to your referrer (starts at 20% rev share, and can reach up to 40% rev share).

Referral Program

Every player has a referral link in their profile. If someone visits your link and connects their wallet for the first time, they are attributed to you.

  • Base: when a referred player loses, you earn 1% of their stake (this is 20% rev share of the 5% platform fee).
  • Boost: if you refer 10+ wallets and their combined losses are at least 10 SOL over the last 7 days (UTC), you earn 2% for the next 7 days (40% rev share).
  • On-chain: rewards are paid automatically during settlement. The referred player never pays extra; the share comes from the platform fee.

How Settlement Works

Settlement is fully automatic. Our settlement service continuously monitors all open predictions and settles them as soon as their time window expires.

A prediction wins if the live odds touch or pass through your predicted price zone at any point during the 30-second evaluation window (Tap 2 Predict), or if the final 60-second move matches your selected direction (Up/Down).

If you win: You receive your stake multiplied by the cell's multiplier, paid from the bankroll pool.

If you lose: 95% of your stake goes to the bankroll pool (benefiting liquidity providers) and 5% goes as a platform fee. If you were referred, part of that fee is paid to your referrer (20% rev share, up to 40% rev share).

Everything is settled on-chain on Solana -- transparent, verifiable, and non-custodial.

Sessions & Your Wallet

Rush Sports uses session-based betting to make the experience fast and seamless. Here's how it works:

  • Fund: When you start, you fund a session with SOL from your wallet. This is a one-time approval.
  • Play: Each tap-prediction uses your session balance. No wallet popups interrupting gameplay.
  • Top up: Running low? Add more SOL to your session at any time.
  • Recover: When you're done playing, recover any unspent SOL back to your wallet.

Sessions expire automatically for safety. Your funds are always secured by Solana's on-chain program -- we never have custody of your SOL.

Points & Leaderboard

Every prediction earns you Season 1 points, whether you win or lose. But winning earns more:

  • 10 points for every prediction placed
  • +5 bonus for every winning prediction
  • Streak bonuses: 3 wins in a row = 2x on your win bonus, 5 wins = 3x, 10 wins = 5x
  • Stake multiplier: Bet bigger to earn more (up to 10x at 1 SOL)
  • Difficulty bonus: Predict bigger movements for extra points

Check the Leaderboard to see how you stack up against other players.

Liquidity Pool (For LPs)

Don't want to predict? You can provide liquidity instead. The bankroll pool is what pays out winning predictions -- and takes in losing ones.

When you deposit SOL into the pool, you receive shares proportional to your deposit. As the pool grows from losing predictions (minus payouts to winners), your shares become worth more.

You can withdraw at any time. Your payout is proportional to your share of the pool. Visit the LP page to deposit or withdraw.

Safety & Fairness

Fully on-chain. All bets, settlements, and payouts happen on Solana. Every transaction is publicly verifiable.

Non-custodial. We never hold your SOL. Funds sit in program-owned vaults secured by smart contracts.

Bankroll protected. Before accepting any prediction, the system checks there's enough in the pool to cover the maximum potential payout. If not, the prediction is rejected.

Real-time odds. Price data comes from live sports markets via Polymarket, smoothed to prevent manipulation from momentary order book noise.

How It Works Reference

The How It Works page explains timing rules, game modes, settlement behavior, fees, referrals, and session mechanics in one place.

It is the best reference before moving from demo to live predictions.

FAQ

What are the core game modes?

Tap 2 Predict targets movement zones over 30-second windows. Up/Down targets direction over a 1-minute evaluation window.

Why are some cells or actions disabled?

Actions can be disabled near timing boundaries or stale-data states to preserve fairness and deterministic settlement.

How do session limits improve safety?

Session controls reduce friction while enforcing bounded spending behavior and clearer wallet-state management.

How do referrals work?

Referral attribution and rewards follow platform rules tied to referred user activity and fee-sharing logic.

Where can I verify fairness controls?

Fairness controls are described in safety and settlement sections and reinforced by transparent on-chain execution paths.

Is Rush Sports custodial?

No. Rush Sports is designed as a non-custodial product. Session flows are used for speed, but settlement and balances are handled through on-chain program logic.

What happens during stale-data periods?

If live price data is stale or unavailable, prediction placement can be restricted and affected rounds can be canceled according to settlement safeguards.

Can I use demo mode before betting real SOL?

Yes. Demo mode is intended for practice and does not require wallet funding, while live mode requires a funded session for real predictions.

Where can I verify game outcomes and settlements?

Outcomes and settlements are processed with on-chain records, and supporting interfaces are available in app views such as match history and leaderboard context.
